New Brian Eno Tracks and Artwork for 'Bless this Space' and 'Pour it Out'

Listen to two new album songs & see the individual artwork for each format by Brian Eno. 'Bless this Space' and 'Pour it Out' are now available with some comments about the visuals for these cuts: "Recently I was in Sao Paulo, the most city-ish city in the Western world. I took lots of pictures of the forest, and then, back in London, started playing with the images in photoshop. As I was playing I was listening to this album ( - in shuffle mode, highly recommended ) and I realised I was crafting the images and the colours to match up with what I was hearing. So that's how the cover images came about..." - Brian Eno

FASoft Release n-Track Studio For Mac OSX

It had to happen sooner or later. With the recently released n-Track Studio for iOS it made sense for FASoft to make an OSX version. Note only compatible with Intel macs. I used n-Track to record and mix two CD's in the early 00's. The newer versions offer so much more in addition to what was already there.

One Thousand Pulses Presents - Artcrime - Woodcliff Lake NJ - June 25, 2011

From out of the woodwork, from the cracks in the sonic floorboards, from out of nowhere in fact, they came, five desperate individuals seeking sonic asylum. They share between them the same spoiled persuasions, corrupted at birth by the choice noises made out of random acoustics and ragged electronics. Reared on the pulse of jazz, unable to keep their aberrant tendencies towards experimentalism in check, they fled the jurisdiction of music halls for the wild frontier, breaking dozens of aural laws in the process.

Makenoise's Phonogene Regenerative Record Patch

Tony from Make Noise cracked the manual and created this short video demo of the Regenerative Record Patch from the Phonogene manual. The gear used is the Harvestman Hertz Donut and QMMG for signal source. A René was used for sequencing, a MATHS analog electronic signal processor generator module was also used with Wiazrd's Wogglebug to modulate the Phonogene. Fun stuff.

Subtronik's Kurzweil K2000 Demo Videos

These videos from Subtronik bring back memories for me and makes me wonder why I parted with my K2000 years ago. Many overlook the fact that it already has a kick ass virtual analog synth and like Subtronik says with the easy editing you can create huge VA sounds in minutes.

Soniccouture And Ableton Release Soniccouture Morpheus Mallet Percussion Instrument

Soniccouture and Ableton present a unique take on a most unusual mallet percussion instrument. Named after the Greek god of dreams, the Freenotes Morpheus is a modular metallic instrument consisting of a series of metal bars, each attached to its own resonator. With no damping, the notes buzz freely, allowing for lush, ringing pads and sharp attacks alike.

904 from Eyeless Dreams by Wolfgang Dueren

Former boss of synth company PPG and chief demonstrator of its products plus Tangerine Dream's touring sound man, Dueren's privately released album Eyeless Dreams is a showcase of what the great PPGs could do. It's also a damn good work in its own right, and 904 is my favourite track from it.

Forbin Accenta Electronica by Jeffrey Plaide

Forbin Accenta Electronica is an entirely electronically-produced experimental composition using the KX-Synth X16software synthesizer. The KX-Synth X16 is a successful and extremely flexible software re-creation of the famous EMS VCS3 Putney or various Synthi models, using a virtual pin matrix to inter-connect the various oscillators, filters and modulation effects together. For this work, twin KX-Synth X16 synthesizers were connected in parallel within the VST host.

MOH for Transistor Festival 2011

A little rough around the edges but this is a track I am working on for this years festival.
Moh (Sanskrit muh: "to become stupefied, to be bewildered or perplexed, to err, to be mistaken") stands in ancient texts for perplexity or confusion as also for the cause of confusion, that is, avidya or ajnana (ignorance or illusion).

Each has its own unmistakable sound, and thanks to added sidechaining and parallel compression, these Vintage Compressors actually improve on the originals.

Photonic Movements by Robert Carty

Whoah another release from netlabel Earth Mantra. What's sweeter is running a label and releasing albums by artists you like as EM explains in their description of Robert Carty new and first release on the netlabel titled Photonic Movements. At first listen I gotta agree that it is indeed "exquisite". Let alone the guy has got over fifty albums available on his website and largely considered a master of pure Space Music.
