Here's a real blast from the past thanks to Tom Hirschberg who posted about this far out custom designed Moog Modular 3C Synthesizer named AARCHY. Tom describes the system that was built for an electro-rock music project back in the early 80s. Enshrined in a strange case covered in mirrors. It has arching panels, a drum synth, sequencer, dual keyboards and more.

Tom Hirschberg describes the story of this strange synthesizer:
"AARCHY = Custom made Moog modular synthesizer for a music project something between Asia and Buggles in 1980 (?). Looks amazing + cost a lot of money to rebuild. Technical wise, this is a Moog 3C with custom made drum synth near to a TR808 on right of item on top. Analog sequencer as usual, as far as i remember. 2 keyboards, one of them belongs to a Polymoog synthesiser, which is build in low down. It came with a Roland MC-8 digital sequencer as well (not to see here..). It was mainly build for show not for serious use in studio or would you look in the mirror finish seeing yourself when making music? Me not. It was offered to me to find a buyer in the 1990s from a guy from Vienna. I didn`t find one, so I don`t know what happend to this strange but funny Moog modular in the end."
